I Like Birds

The Hand of God

I’m writing this outside as the birds are aggressively chirping, the wind is gusting hard enough to make the leaves shake and the branches bend.

A storm is coming and everything that exist outside is fully aware. The trees speak, the flowers dance, and the rocks chill.

I am at one with the earth out here. I see the hand of God on everything I’m surrounded by. I need other humans less; money is no longer a block of cheese at the end of the tunnel. I am for the first time ever, living in the present.

“A Journal Entry Worth Sharing With You”

Water is sprinkling on me as I rush through these thoughts. My ink is puddling up and my pinky is smeared. I read the Word and I don’t want to come out of it. The presence of You is revealed and the rest of my day we are walking through it together.

Thunder is heard, but the sun is still there. It reminds me of the foolish noise this culture tries to spew. Your light is still shining all the way through.

My time with you is limited while I’m here doing what us humans have to do. That small sample You give me, fills me with hope when this life ends, and it’s with You my life is anew.

Eternity. An underrated word in our forever busy lives. Eternal life with the Lord that represents everything I love. Even on vacation you gotta take care of your children, cook, clean, and do the things that are apart from Your truth and love.

I know… You are with me in those moments too, but there are many times I forget to be with You! Despite my shortcomings, sanctification is evident the longer I walk. The words that come from my lips are yours the more that I talk.

I’m not where you want me to be, but you’re showing me the way. Oh how I love when Your Word is paired with coffee to start my day. The Word existed from the beginning. The Word was with God and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through Christ, and NOTHING was created except through Him. The Word I love and need so much gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone.

I am one of the everyones… You said, even as your gone your words will forever live on. The book that saved my life. The Word that saved my life, you found a way to put it in my hands.

I am eternally grateful, and I will do everything in my power to help get your word in the hands of many.
