Zach, once a successful stand-up comedian, had his life take a surprising turn in 2020. After discovering the book of John, he felt a deep calling to be a voice for Jesus.

He obediently launched the "I Like Birds" podcast, which provided hope during challenging times. Many people, including close friends, found faith through it, making it a top 2% global podcast in its first few years.

Today, Zach is a published author, professional speechwriter, and active leader in his local church. He obtained his ministry license in 2022 and has spoken at churches, conferences, and live events. His podcast has reached 30 million people online and has a huge heart for mission work in prisons, youth sports, and Uganda, Africa… all driven by his God-given purpose to “Do it for the One.”

Zach in Africa

Zach had the opportunity to preach in Uganda, Africa. What was supposed to be a ten-day mission trip, ended up being a 21-day life-changing experience. Zach’s first time traveling to preach the Gospel abroad was during a time when Uganda, Africa was coming off back-to-back lockdowns. God moved mightily and many people and children gave their lives to Christ.

After experiencing ministering to orphans, widows, and students, God placed a book on Zach’s heart. He shares his experience ministering to the one in front of him and his spiritual eyes being opened in a way that will impact readers for years to come.

This book continues to touch lives and bring people closer to God.

Zach obtained his license to minister from Destiny Leaders Institute. His heart for evangelism burns bright, God is calling him to continue to share his story and God’s faithfulness with others at a bigger capacity.
